Stone & Silence: Selecting the Bones of the Garden

The Foundation

Before a single plant is chosen, we define the "bones" of the garden. Stone is the permanent element, the silence amidst the noise.

Why Sourcing Matters

We import our primary limestone directly from quarries in Portugal and Texas. Why go to such lengths? Because mass-market pavers lack the patina that develops over time.

1. Warm Limestone (Cream)

Perfect for pool decks. It remains cool to the touch even in direct sun and provides a soft, glare-free surface. It reflects light into the home, brightening interior rooms.

2. Silver Travertine (Grey)

We use this for modern, minimalist courtyards. The cool tones contrast beautifully with deep green foliage like Olive trees and Boxwoods.

Our Advice: Never seal stone with a high-gloss finish. Let it breathe, weather, and age. A garden should look like it has been there for a century, even if it was built yesterday.
